Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows the story of Frieren, an elf mage who embarks on a reflective journey after her heroic group, which once defeated the Demon King, disbands. While her companions, including the brave hero Himmel, the priest Heiter, and the warrior Eisen, grow old and pass away, Frieren remains unchanged due to her near-immortal lifespan. This melancholic reality prompts her to reflect on the fleetingness of time and her missed opportunities to forge deeper connections with her comrades. Accompanied by her human apprentice, Fern, Frieren sets off on a seemingly aimless quest to collect magical spells.
